Discover the treasure of grace through Mary
“Stella Maris” is a Latin phrase that translates to “Star of the Sea” in English. This title has been attributed to the Blessed Virgin Mary, as she is seen as a guiding light and a beacon of hope for those navigating the tumultuous seas of life or new depths of faith.
“If the winds of temptation arise; if you are driven upon the rocks of tribulation, look to the star, call on Mary. If you are tossed upon the waves of pride, of ambition, of envy, of rivalry, look to the star, call on Mary.”
— St. Bernard of Clairvaux
Join us for a reformative retreat, Stella Maris
In the serene and beautiful setting of Jackie's childhood summers in Sag Harbor, Long Island, NY, we will embark on a journey to deepen our faith through the imitation of Mary.
As we gather together, we invite you to open your heart to Mary's love and guidance. Let Stella Maris be the beacon that illuminates your path, leading you closer to her Son, Jesus Christ.
May she help you navigate the often turbulent waters of life with grace and courage, and may you discover new depths of love throughout this journey.
“Let us run to Mary, and, as her little children, cast ourselves into her arms with perfect confidence.”
— St. Francis de Sales

“O unfathomable sea of love! Who will ever be able to sound your depths? For the greater and more sublime the things that are said about you, the greater and more sublime are those that remain unsaid. And it is greater to remain silent about such things than to speak of them.”
— St. John Damascene
