The types of thoughts that we cultivate determine the kind of life that we live. How we look at reality, contemplate our circumstances, and consider our trials will either provide us with peace or anxiety.

Saint Paul reminds us that guarding our thoughts is vital for our well-being.

“Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is gracious, if there is any excellence and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things” (Phil 4:8).

Our thoughts have the power to produce peace in our hearts. If they do, they will radiate peace to others. Likewise, they have the power to create anxiety and discord. Learning to think as God thinks is one of Jesus’s most important messages to Saint Peter (Mt. 16:23).

He wants to help us do the same today.

The way we think is a learned habit and deeply ingrained in us. Thoughts come to us from a variety of places, including our experiences, the outside world, and our interior life. But God has given us the capacity to retrain the way our minds approach reality. We can observe our initial reactions and then consider alternate ways of approaching a given situation.

We should always consider how God sees the same set of circumstances. That is what our minds are ultimately made for.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”

 — Proverbs 3:5-6

We invite you to join us for this summit and learn how to reform your mindset so that you can find peace in all circumstances, nurture thoughts that are life-giving, and help you to more perfectly love as Christ loves.

Bishop Conley was installed on November 20, 2012, in the Cathedral of the Risen Christ in Lincoln.

Panelist: Jackie Mulligan, CEO & Foundress of Reform

  • Reform was founded and started by Jackie. She now serves Reform as Chief Executive Officer. After years of tireless striving, stress, and compromised health as a result of her lifestyle, Jackie found her identity, healing, and wholeness in God. She found a more simple way; a way centered in faith, wellness, and freedom. Now, she is devoted to helping others find the same.

Combining her passions of wellness, faith, and education, Jackie works with clients locally and around the world. Along the way, she discovered that one of her greatest passions was helping others build stronger connections to themselves, their health, and their faith through wellness at every level: physical, emotional and spiritual.

Through working with a variety of individual clients, religious orders, corporations, and educational institutions across the globe and observing a number of habits and cultures, Jackie found the common denominator: others were striving to find their way to be fully alive in Christ, in body, mind, and soul. Her personal practice grew into Reform.

As a holistic nutritionist, wellness practitioner and experienced educator, Jackie has paired her personal experience with her professional knowledge to create a program that innovatively merges faith and functional health. The information and tools she shares grows from her life experiences and education: Master of Business Administration, Master of Secondary Education, Bachelor of Art in Languages, Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner, Holistic Nutritionist, former NYS Certified Spanish teacher.
