Carry One Forward Campaign
St. Thérèse was too small to climb the stairway on her own, so she asked to be carried. This season, help us raise $100,000 to carry priests, religious, and laity toward the healing they could not otherwise reach.
On the Feast of St. Thérèse of Lisieux we launch the Carry One Forward campaign in honor of her patronage of Reform Alms, and in the spirit of her own hard-won lesson in what it means to be carried. Thérèse knew she was too small to climb "the rough stairway of perfection."
So instead of striving upward on her own strength, she asked to be carried: "The elevator which must raise me to heaven is Your arms, O Jesus!" She knew that reliance on God was a surer path to wholeness and holiness than self-reliance.
Reform Alms exists to lift them, offering whole-person healing to those who could not otherwise receive it, so they can go on carrying the Church.
By donating to Reform Alms, you help heal the Body of Christ—providing whole-person care to clergy, religious, and lay communities who would otherwise be unable to access these services.
From now through the end of the calendar year, December 31, we're asking you to help us raise $100,000. Every gift carries one person forward and makes room for the next donor to lift another. You don't have to carry the whole weight. You only have to carry one. Please consider making a gift today.
Our intention for this campaign is that all those in need of Christ-centered wellness and formation would receive the gift of being carried forward by another Reformer; that what is carried forward now would bear fruit for generations, leading more souls to Christ; and that this fruitfulness would extend beyond anything we can currently envision.
Many members of the Body of Christ, from lay families and students to priests, religious, and seminarians, face a steep stairway of their own, bearing financial, spiritual, and vocational burdens, often alone.
